Founded in 2002, DWHR is headed by David Woollard and based in Bucklesham, just outside Ipswich, in Suffolk. We work across East Anglia, the UK and even internationally, from Ipswich to Armenia, Chelmsford to Chisinau, Norwich to Zagreb!
We specialise in providing professional, generic HR support to many different types of business, together with the design and delivery of recruitment processes, training and development programmes, management and leadership development, team-development and outplacement processes.
Prior to setting up DWHR, David held HR Management and Learning & Development roles in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. David is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD). He also has a Masters Degree in Training and Development from the University of Sheffield. He is qualified to Level B Plus with the British Psychological Society in Psychometric Assessment and has specific qualifications to use instruments such as QUEST, OPQ, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the Hogan Development Survey (HDS), an assessment of the “dark- side”of personality, Strengthscope and the Leap Team Index (LTI).
Our approach is based on thorough analysis of the situation or issue that you are faced with, using a range of diagnostic tools and approaches. We do not jump to conclusions or make assumptions, but prefer to work with you to accurately identify your needs and then give you a choice of viable options, in order to best meet your needs. We employ a range of techniques, as appropriate, drawn from different disciplines including mainstream HR, business-psychology and sports-psychology.
We also collaborate with friends in other consultancies when a particular specialism is required which we don’t possess or when we need more people to manage a particular project. Our friends include The Leap Partnership and ACC Consulting.
Working in partnership with the East of England Trading Standards Association (EETSA) and Blue Edge Consulting, DWHR produced an on-line psychometric assessment, to be used as part of selection and development processes for Regulatory Service Professions such as Trading Standards, Environmental Health, Licensing and Building Control - the Regulatory Services Test (RST). Please go to the Regu-Test website for more details.
